Answer: Introduction Though it has been a long time to the fact that teenagers are quite prone to unpredictable behaviors and even quite impulsive like even might not understand their own actions and their consequences which can be disastrous. But the MRI technology and neuroscience field in medicine have recently been able to get the fact that there is a strict and a direct connection between everything which has led to all of the understanding for a teenagers brain development and their behavior. The adolescent mind, it turns out, is a cerebrum as yet creating. (Allahverdipour, 2010) To comprehend the dangers related with psychoactive substances in young people, it comprehends that youngsters are not quite recently less-experienced grown-ups; they are experiencing a critical yet difficult formative stage in which that they are inclined to blunders of judgment, and touchy to neurological attack by psychoactive substances. This can turn so many situations opposite and with the kind of environment which they have and moreover the way there formative stages have been or what they have grasped has a very serious impression on their brain development. This all can actually come up with a hazard for substance dependence, and more than some other age gather they chance changeless scholarly and enthusiastic harm because of the impacts of medications. (Hallfors, 2010) Brain Development of a Normal Adolescent The human brain is etched by involvement. During childbirth, the mind contains numerous more neural associations than it could conceivable utilize, however these associations are unspecialized and undeveloped and gets developed throughout the course of their lives. But emphasizing on the development of the adolescents brain, there can be the long haul a few associations are fortified, (for example, the nerves that procedure seeing a mother's faced or sound of a kin's voice) and others are pruned away. But the some which remain left gets to the brain of that person and affects him/ her lifelong and this is one of the reasons for the early use of substance or being addicted to it. The most stamped advancement in pre-adulthood is in the mind's frontal projection and external mantle. The pre-frontal cortex, situated in the frontal projection, executes such abilities as setting needs, defining systems, dispensing consideration and controlling driving forces; the external mantle is included with handling theoretical data and understanding guidelines, laws and codes of social collaboration. And thus this is where the gap is and the space to let other things enter in the system through outside environment and a lot more. Moreover, there is a lot of effect in this early age since thats the stage where your development takes place and moreover, a lot of effect with the things. The practices that go with these progressions are straightforward. Young people are infamous for their fixation on social communication, for making up social guidelines and breaking them. As adolescents develop into youthful grown-ups they regularly display an interest with unique thinking on themes like history, culture and media, which shows their developing capacity to comprehend the bigger world. While the high school mind is in some ways not well prepared to settle on choices and decisions without the assistance of put stock in grown-ups, it is consummately intended for the sorts of scholarly and social difficulties youngsters most need to ace. (Winters, 2007) Still, improvement of completely develop complex deduction takes quite a while. X-ray contemplates demonstrate that the advancement of the prefrontal cortex and external mantle of the mind proceeds into the mid-20s, and may not be finished until the mid-20s. Like protection on a wire, this greasy layer enables the nerve associations with process speedier, making levelheaded, contemplated basic leadership snappier and more programmed. (Allahverdipour, 2010) Developing Brain getting affected by Drugs There are numerous ways that these sorts of substances and drugs can modify or harm the improvement of the immature cerebrum. Right off the bat, substances regularly target and adjust capacity of neurotransmitters, the synthetic dispatchers that enable nerves to convey at their intersections. Also these can straightforwardly harm delicate creating neural associations. Besides certain things, there can be many issues that affect the logic and perceptual aptitudes of the people; also with the utilization of the medication it might be very useful for them. But the utilization of these substances adjusts recognition and may meddle with the creating perceptual aptitudes and this in turn affects people a lot which can be a lot of repercussions in the brain development of the adolescents. Lastly, the propensities and decisions related with the utilization of medications and liquor gradually end up plainly instilled in the wiring of the cerebrum. Rehashed activity moves toward becoming prope nsity and the propensities for thought, observation, and thinking created in youth and youthfulness can remain with a man all through his or her lifetime. (Feldstein, 2010) Things which led to changes in Perception Many drugs have been affecting the adolescents and that is why there is a strong sense of quick reactions and all from the side of them when they have taken these drugs. And when these have hit the mind of a person at such an early age this makes such reactions so high and even the reaction time is so quick and totally different. And these are the lead to, potential of such drugs being too high. Like the chronic marijuana- its use can be profound. Deciding the sentiments and thought processes of other individuals is important to work as a grown-up in the public arena. On the off chance that pot utilize is perpetual or sufficiently steady to obstruct perceptual development, a pre-adult client may experience misjudged disappointments in school, work, and connections, which thusly re-authorize the craving to withdraw to drugs. There can be so much of effects at the very early age for their development. Habits and more of things related to the Brain As self-improvement instructors can be speedy and to bring up, on the off chance that you help out sufficiently long it ends up noticeably all like common for everyone. No place does this intelligence more remain constant than in youth. In spite of the fact that teenagers may change garments, thoughts, companions and leisure activities with incensing recurrence, they are creating thoughts regarding themselves, their reality and their place in it that will tail them for whatever remains of their lives. And this is why to make thoughts about themselves as per the environment, their mind also takes such functions which can be too much engrossed into substance abuse and much more. Moreover the grown-ups may have invested their years attempting to make or end even the least difficult propensity, yet most grown-ups find that their most significant thoughts regarding themselves and the world were created in secondary school which doesnt let them get involved. Instead the young ones get invo lved in such alcohol and drugs. This is on the grounds that, by age 25 or so the brain is completely created and constructing new neural associations is a much slower handle and thats why such legal permissions are given on this age. Conclusion The early detection of the issue and urgent treatment is a basic to taking off the advancement of substance dependence in young people. Given their mental health, youngsters can't having to know what are the real effects of these hard things and substance abuse. The infection must be counteracted, and where it can't be anticipated it must be cured while there is still time for a full change. The repercussions will also be huge in number- Thus there needs to be even a proper counseling sessions which should be carried out to make sure such substance abuse or their environment doesnt affect them so much. Jazz And Classical Music Essays - Jazz Genres,

Jazz And Classical Music Upon entering a modern record store, one is confronted with a wide variety of choices in recorded music. These choices not only include a multitude of artists, but also a wide diversity of music categories. These categories run the gamut from easy listening dance music to more complex art music. On the complex side of the scale are the categories known as Jazz and Classical music. Some of the most accomplished musicians of our time have devoted themselves to a lifelong study of Jazz or Classical music, and a few exceptional musicians have actually mastered both. A comparison of classical and Jazz music will yield some interesting results and could also lead to an appreciation of the abilities needed to perform or compose these kinds of music. Let's begin with a look at the histories of the two. The music called classical, found in stores and performed regularly by symphonies around the world, spans a length of time from 1600 up to the present. This time frame includes the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary periods. The classical period of music actually spans a time from of 1750 to 1800; thus, the term Classical is a misnomer and could more correctly be changed to Western Art Music or European Art Music. European because most of the major composers up till the 20th century were European. Vivaldi was Italian, Bach was German, Mozart and Beethoven were Austrian; they are some of the more prominent composers. Not until the twentieth century with Gershwin and a few others do we find American composers writing this kind of art music. For the sake of convention, we can refer to Western Art Music as Classical music. Jazz is a distinctively American form of music, and it's history occupies a much smaller span of time. Its origins are found in the early 1900s as some dance band leaders in the southern U.S. began playing music that combined ragtime and blues. Early exponents of this dance music were Jelly Roll Martin (a blues player) and Scott Joplin (ragtime). The terms "Jazz" and "Jazz Band" first surfaced in the year 1900. Some say this occurred in New Orleans, although similar music was played at the same time in other places. The most prominent exponents of this early music, called Dixieland Jazz, included Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet. After World War I, Jazz music had evolved and was aided by the development of the recording industry. The small dance band ensemble grew into the larger orchestra known as the "Big Band". The music of the Big Bands became known as "Swing." Two of the more famous Swing band leaders were Tommy Dorsey and Harry James. In the late 40s and through the 50s, a different kind of Jazz became popular. This music, played by a very small ensemble, was much more sophisticated and complex . Its rich harmonic changes and melodic counterpoint were not conducive to dance. It became known as "Bop," with Charlie Parker and Dizzie Gillespie being the early proponents. In the last twenty years there has been a combination of Jazz with popular music of the US and Latin America. This modern Jazz music has been called "Fusion." Present day exponents include Pat Metheny and Chic Corea. There has also been a return to the sound of Bop in the last ten years by such musicians as trumpeter Winton Marsalis and his brother Branford, a saxophonist. Let's focus on the instrumentation of the two kinds of music. In Classical music, both large orchestras and small ensembles are used. But generally, the greatest and most prominent compositions are for the larger symphony orchestra. The largest part of the orchestra is the string section consisting of violins, violas, cellos and string basses. These instruments were invented very early in medieval times but really matured into their present form during the late 18th century. The wind instruments, comprised of brass and woodwinds, took longer to mature. The brass section in particular did not posses the ability to play chromatically (in all keys) until the advent of valves which allowed the length of the instrument to be changed while playing. This occurred around the middle to late 19th century. Consequently, the brass instruments are less prominent in the music of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven along with their contemporaries. Late 19th and early 20th century composers make use of a very large orchestra with all the fully developed wind instruments. Some of the master orchestrator/composers of this time were: Wagner, Rimskey-Korsakov, Ravel and Stravinsky. Currently, composers also make

A Literary Review of Everyday Use by Alice Walker

A Literary Review of Everyday Use by Alice Walker American writer and activist Alice Walker is best known for her novel The Color Purple, which won both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. She has written numerous other novels, stories, poems, and essays. Her story Everyday Use originally appeared in her 1973 collection, In Love Trouble: Stories of Black Women, and has been widely anthologized since. The Plot of 'Everyday Use' The story is narrated in the first-person by a mother who lives with her shy and unattractive  daughter, Maggie, who was scarred in a fire as a child. They are nervously waiting for a visit from Maggies sister, Dee, to whom life has always come easy. Dee and her companion  boyfriend arrive with bold, unfamiliar clothing and hairstyles, greeting Maggie and the narrator with Muslim and African phrases. Dee announces that she has changed her name to Wangero Leewanika Kemanjo, saying that she couldnt stand to use a name from oppressors. This decision hurts her mother, who named her after loved ones. During the visit, Dee lays claim to certain family heirlooms, such as the top and dasher of a butter churn, whittled by relatives. But unlike Maggie, who uses the butter churn to make butter, Dee wants to treat them like antiques or artwork. Dee also tries to claim some handmade quilts, fully assuming shell be able to have them because shes the only one who can appreciate them. The mother informs Dee that she has already promised the quilts to Maggie. Maggie says Dee can have them, but the mother takes the quilts out of Dees hands and gives them to Maggie. Dee then leaves, chiding the mother for not understanding her heritage, and encouraging Maggie to make something of yourself. After Dee is gone, Maggie and the narrator relax contentedly in the back yard. The Heritage of Lived Experience Dee insists that Maggie is incapable of appreciating the quilts. She exclaims, horrified, Shed probably be backward enough to put them to everyday use. For Dee, heritage is a curiosity to be looked at and something to put on display for others to look at, as well. She plans to use the churn top and dasher as decorative items in her home. She plans to hang the quilts on the wall, [a]s if that was the only thing you could do with quilts. She even treats her own family members as curiosities. She takes numerous photos of them, and the narrator tells us, She never takes a shot without making sure the house is included. When a cow comes nibbling around the edge of the yard she snaps it and me and Maggie and the house. But Dee fails to understand that the heritage of the items she covets comes precisely from their everyday use their relation to the lived experience of the people whove used them. The narrator describes the dasher as follows: You didnt even have to look close to see where hands pushing the dasher up and down to make butter had left a kind of sink in the wood. In fact, there were a lot of small sinks; you could see where thumbs and fingers had sunk into the wood. Part of the beauty of the object is that it has been so frequently used, and by so many hands in the family, suggesting a communal family history that Dee seems unaware of. The quilts, made from scraps of clothing and sewn by multiple hands, epitomize this lived experience. They even include a small scrap from Great Grandpa Ezras uniform that he wore in the Civil War, which reveals that members of Dees family were working against the people who oppress[ed] them long before Dee decided to change her name. Unlike Dee, Maggie actually knows how to quilt. She was taught by Dees namesakes Grandma Dee and Big Dee so she is a living part of the heritage that is nothing more than decoration to Dee. For Maggie, the quilts are reminders of specific people, not of some abstract notion of heritage. I can member Grandma Dee without the quilts, Maggie says to her mother. It is this statement that prompts her mother to take the quilts away from Dee and hand them to Maggie because Maggie understands their history and value so much more deeply than Dee does. Lack of Reciprocity Dees real offense lies in her arrogance and condescension toward her family, not in her attempted embrace of African culture. Her mother is initially very open-minded about the changes Dee has made. For instance, though the narrator confesses that Dee has shown up in a dress so loud it hurts my eyes, she watches Dee walk toward her and concedes, The dress is loose and flows, and as she walks closer, I like it. The mother also shows a willingness to use the name Wangero, telling Dee, If thats what you want us to call you, well call you. But Dee doesnt really seem to want her mothers acceptance, and she definitely doesnt want to return the favor by accepting and respecting her mothers cultural traditions. She almost seems disappointed that her mother is willing to call her Wangero. Dee is possessive and entitled as her hand close[s] over Grandma Dees butter dish and she begins to think of objects shed like to take. And shes convinced of her superiority over her mother and sister. For example, the mother observes Dees companion and notices, Every once in a while he and Wangero sent eye signals over my head. When it turns out that Maggie knows much more about the history of the family heirlooms than Dee does, Dee belittles her by saying, Maggies brain is like an elephants. The entire family considers Dee to be the educated, intelligent, quick-witted one, and so she equates Maggies intellect with the instincts of an animal, not giving her any real credit. As the mother narrates the story, she refers to Dee as Wangero. Occasionally she refers to her as Wangero (Dee), which emphasizes the confusion of having a new name and also pokes a little fun at the grandness of Dees gesture. But as Dee becomes more and more selfish and difficult, the narrator starts to withdraw her generosity in accepting the new name. Instead of Wangero (Dee), she starts to refer to her as Dee (Wangero), privileging her original given name. When the mother describes snatching the quilts away from Dee, she refers to her as Miss Wangero, suggesting that shes run out of patience with Dees haughtiness. After that, she simply calls her Dee, fully withdrawing her gesture of support. Dee seems unable to separate her new-found cultural identity from her own long-standing need to feel superior to her mother and sister. Ironically,  Dees lack of respect for her living family members as well as her lack of respect for the real human beings who constitute what Dee thinks of only as an abstract heritage provides the clarity that allows Maggie and the mother to appreciate each other and their own shared heritage.

Furthermore, the author accurately describes the physical appearance of the Sifaka. In the description, the Sifaka have a slightly bugged out eyes, long limbs, and special characteristics that enables them to groom themselves (Kappeler, 21). This includes possessing a toilet claw, found in their second toe. It is important to denote that these are the characteristics of the family of Indriidae, and specifically, the genus of Lemur. It is further important to denote that Lemur is vegetarian in nature, and this makes the Sifaka to be vegetarians. On this basis, the writer is correct through the article which asserts that the diet of the Sifaka involves flowers, fruits, leaves, and the bark of a tree. Kappeler (31) also supports the fact that Sifaka likes sunbathing. This is a luxury to them, and it normally occurs when they are not looking for food. On this note, the information given by the author concerning this behavior is correct. Furthermore, the description of the author regarding the gestation period of the female Sifaka is correct. All Lemurs normally have a gestation period of between four to five months. The only shortcoming in this article is the inability of the writer to give information concerning the growth and development of the young

Document Information - Essay Example On the contrary, Adams (2006) stated that it is advised to rest the arms on a surface to ensure less fatigue on them. The typewriter was a lower machine than a computer screen or a laptop due to which the user’s head has to be lowered considerably down to look at the output. This could create severe fatigue on the neck after some time. However, the modern guidelines of computer ergonomics advise the head to be kept almost straight (slightly tilted downwards by not more than 15 degrees). Ergonomics play an important role in maintaining a good posture of the individual and to ensure that longer durations of work do not affect his health. Bad ergonomics can lead to headaches, blurred vision, stress and fatigue on different parts of the body. Good ergonomics can prove to increase the efficiency of the workers while making them more productive. However, purchasing supplies for enforcing good ergonomics can create few expenses for the employers, for example appropriate chairs, stools for the feet etc. Welcome to the company! The Influence of English on My Writing Skills Essay Example for Free

The Influence of English on My Writing Skills Essay I started learning English when I was 10. I found learning foreign language very entertaining, useful and, funny. In a very short time period I learned to speak English quite good and I was able to understand American movies without subtitles. As time was passing, my English was gradually improving and after couple of years I was able to speak it fluently. When it comes to writing, however, I was struggling from the very beginning. Even though I could speak English fluently, I never was really able to print my thoughts on piece of paper. When I was in high school, the English teacher thought that level of my English was among the highest in a class. However, she would never understand my poor performance on written tasks. She was very surprised that I can speak English so well, but still perform poor on essays. In the beginning, the professor though it is due my poor writing skills in general. But, on the other side, my essay grades in Bosnian very excellent, and Bosnian teacher would speak in superlatives about me. So one day, Ana, the English teacher gave me a very interesting task. She first told me to write an essay in Bosnian, and then to use a same topic, and write it in English. I did so, and difference was massive. The Bosnian essay was excellent, and essay written in English not even close as good. We finally found out what was the problem. Although, I was speaking English very well, the most of the words I knew came from different movies and TV shows. The English I was using was mostly made of slang words an terms. It was very good for easy conversation, but not that good for writing. This was a problem that I never completely solved. Despite my writing skills were improving all the time, my English essays were never that good and far away from those written in Bosnian. When it comes to writing the language barrier was insurmountable. The great ideas and thoughts were always coming to my mind, but I was never really able to write them down in English. However, I am pretty sure that I am not the only one with this problem. I think that there are many kids, especially in non-English speaking countries, which have same problems with overcoming language barrier. They all probably have great imagination and great ideas but cannot express them on piece of paper. Overcoming this language barrier was very tough task for me, and I have not finished it yet. Never less, I will keep trying and practicing until my English becomes as good as my Bosnian. I would strongly encourage all other internationals, with same problem, to keep trying and never give up. Because, one day, when we write an English essay and our teacher cannot tell that it’s written by an international; I will know that we made it!

The U.S. Contained Communism In Vietnam :: Vietnam War Essays

The U.S. Contained Communism In Vietnam In 1949, Mao Zedong led the Peoples Revolution, which established a Communist State in China. Communism has now been introduced to Asia. In this period, after World War II, Communism was a popular ideology being introduced throughout the world. Vietnam was one of the many countries under the threat of Communism. At this time, Vietnam was a French Colony. As time went on tension started to come between the French and the Vietnamese people. As tension increased so did the fighting between the French and The Vietnamese. Finally in 1954, The French decided that they could no longer withstand the revolts of the Vietnamese. The Vietnamese were now free of French rule. However, many problems still remained in Vietnam. After the war there was a conference to discuss the troubles in Vietnam and all of the other troubles in Asia. That conference was called the Geneva Conference. Vietnam sent two delegations to the conference. One of the delegations represented Viet Minh (which was Communist in their leanings) and the other represented Bao Dia's government, which was backed by the United States. Both claimed to represent all of Vietnam. At the conference there was a discussion about dividing Vietnam at the 17th parallel to solve the troubles between the two delegations. Now there were two Vietnams. One, in the north, was under Communist rule and the other, in the south, was not. While the Geneva Conference was being held, the United States was already concerned about Communism being spread. The United States then decided that the only way to solve the problems would be to contain Communism including in Vietnam. The true answer to why the United States got involved in Vietnam lies in part in the Truman Doctrine. This statement is true for two reasons. First, the Truman Doctrine set forth a policy that was applied the international spread of Communism. Second, the Truman Doctrine was brought up when the conflict in Vietnam was increasing. The first United States involvement in Vietnam began in the late 1940's, long before it escalated to include the United States Military. Because of the basic terms or the Truman Doctrine, the United States was drawn in the Vietnam conflict. The Truman Doctrine dealt with fears of Communism, the domino theory, and a feeling there was a need for containment. All of Vietnam was in danger of falling into the hands of Communism.

Burger Case Study Essay

1. Rich Snyder was twenty-four years old when his father passed away and he assumed leadership of In-N-Out Burger. Was his young age an asset or a liability for leadership of the company? Explain you answer. Take a position Does age really matter in the first place? I think the age didn’t really matter. It’s the experience or knowledge that makes the difference. Rich was young when his father had him involved in the business, so by the time he passed Rich should’ve been able to lead the company. Age doesn’t matter if you have enough passion, drive and knowledge of what you are doing, that has much more to do with succeeding or not. 2. In an era of jalapeno poppers and extreme fajitas, how risky is In-N-Out’s long-term strategy of offering only four simple food items? Is the strategy still on track? I don’t think they are being risky with their long term strategy. In 2013 rumors were going around that an In-N-Out Burger was coming to Denver City, Colorado, by Sept. 2014 when there was still no sign of a store being opened, Councilman Albus Brooks got involved and contacted In-N-Out Burger, and they commented that it wasn’t going to happen. The whole city was upset. It made the news that they are going to Toronto, Canada in 2015, but just for a day. Problem Solving A would be entrepreneur walks into your bank and asks to receive financing for a business plan modeled after In-N-Out’s approach and extremely simple menu. But all the ingredients would come from local supplier and growers within a thirty-mile radius of town. Is this a winning recipe deserving of financing from your bank? Yes I would say it is. Their plan is not only profitable to the bank, and themselves, it will also bring in commerce for the local businesses. Further Research How would you illustrate this concept to consumers? Explain why you would  choose to include or exclude TV, print radio or online. Advertising based on your premise. How would you pitch this concept to In-N-Out’s marketing department in a way that would emphasize in n out’s core values? It is hard to find out much about the company so I don’t really know how much they budget for marketing, but it seems like they don’t have a big budget. I would find out how they are packaging their product. Maybe they could find an eco-friendly way to package it. I would emphasize less is more. People are over worked, and over stimulated, and don’t want to think too much. Making less choices makes it easy to order. I would pitch it as their values are integrity, honest and respect. By using eco-friendly packaging they are not only giving value to their customers but also protecting planet.

Matters to be considered in determining the quantum of compensation Article 13(2) of the Federal Constitution mentions that the à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹Å"compensationà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ has to be à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹Å"adequateà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢. Under Section 12(1) of Land Acquisition Act 1960, the land administrator is needed to make complete enquiry into the assessment of the land obtained in order to ensure the quantum of the compensation accurately and justly for both parties. As per Pemungut Hasil Tanah, Daerah Barat Daya (Balik Pulau), Pulau Pinang v Kam Gin Paik[1], the obligation to enquiry lies on the Land Administrator as per stated under Section 12. Don’t waste time! Our writers will create an original "Matters to be Considered in Determining the Quantum of Compensation" essay for you Create order The duty is breached if he intentionally disregards resources pertinent to the evaluation and the sum of compensation. The compensation evaluation is more in the character of an objective nature apart from a typically subjective approach. The text book à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹Å"Compulsory Acquisition and Compensationà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ states that the fundamental theory of the law of compensation is that the amount awarded must be able to restore the claimant in the equivalent financial situation as if his land is not compulsorily acquired by the State Authority. Even in the case DK Basu v State of West Bengal[2], the judge said that monetary or pecuniary compensation is a suitable and certainly an efficient and proper remedy in protecting the proprietorsà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ interest and sufferings. In the measurement of compensation, the importances have to be on the compensatory and not on penalizing aspect. The evaluation of compensation to be rewarded is made by liaising on the Principle s involving on the Determination of Compensation in the First Schedule[3]. There are 3 principles for ensuring the sum of compensation to be rewarded; the market value of the land must be determined, matters to be considered in determining compensation, matters to be neglected in determining compensation and limitation on award. In further, Section 2 of the First Schedule to the Land Acquisition Act 1960 lists 6 elements which are put into consideration while compensation is ensured. Those elements are; market value, increase in value of other land of the person from whom land is acquired, damage caused by severance from any other land of the person from whom the land is acquired, injurious affection, incidental expenses incurred as a result of change of residence or place of business, and accommodation works. In measuring compensation, the acquiring authority may have look upon any raise in value of land the owner keeps that is neighboring to or bordering the land obtained by state authority. This is commonly called as à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“bettermentà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ . Betterment is in result the contradictory of injurious affection. There may be possibilities where the method of the acquiring authority may boost the worth of ownerà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s retained land. In an intense case the landlord will get no compensation because the improvement in worth of the retained land is equivalent to or bigger than the damages for the land obtained. The slightest compensation land owner can obtain is nil. In no situations can the state authority anticipate the land owner to pay them. In this case, by right the nearby lands would get increase in the value because of the development made by government which is coming of the highway. But at the same time, it is depends on the type of the adjacent land whether it will get effected because of the development made or will it benefitted from that. For instance, if it is a residential area, then the land value will get increased . But since, Great Developerà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s land is on agriculture, hence, the value of the land will decrease. Thus the betterment factor effects opposite to them. Land administrator has to consider this element in assessment of the compensation. Severance happens when the harm continues when the Land Administrator is taking control of the land on the ground of separating that particular land from the another land[4]. Paragraph 2(c) First Schedule LAAmentions that adequate compensation has to be given in situation where only particular part of land being acquired. For example the damage happens because of the size or shape of left over land makes it difficult to be developed or the remaining land turn out to be unattractive for investment because of the utilization of land obtained would be place after the land acquisition. This makes the diminution in the value of the left over land occurs by the disadvantage of the obtained severed part. In Great Developerà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s case, the land was for agriculture use and the division of that particular agriculture land may cause harm to the remaining land in continue providing effective production. This is because highway construction consists of hard building works which may to disturb the land fertility and structure. Injurious affection is where the acquisition injuriously disturbing the possessions of individual involved. Letà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s say the land acquisition is to construct building on a residential area, whichever that reduces the value such as the obstruction of view and sound pollution also seemed to be injurious affection. It is taken into consideration to calculate the compensation on the production and profits which would decline and ultimately becomes devaluation. The similar consequence will happen as abovementioned where the construction works brings more air pollution as well as the makes the surrounding temperature get higher. The agriculture work on the land beside may get h armed because of these effects. Incidental expenses incurred as a result of change of residence or place of business because of the land acquisition, and the rational costs linked to such adjustments are claimable[5]. Those costs includes such as transport, temporary loss of business, agent fees, fees for legal agreements and commercial costs to restart the business. When an owner is compelled to shift his residence or his business as an effect of the compulsory acquisition, he is permitted for compensation for his removal expenditures. In this case, the Great Developer may have to shift his one part of agriculture setting to another place which will carry some cost for the settlement at new place. So, for this, compensation is claimable after considering the reasonableness. Accommodation works are for the building of infrastructure, drains, walls, fences of other amenities, as long the responsibility is obvious and enforceable. This is carried out to decrease the compensation for severance, injurious affection or interruption. If the state authority in this case builds any additional facilities, then the compensation amount may be reduced for the accommodation provided to Great Developer for their adjacent land. In short, the land owners must be no bad off in economical terms subsequent to the acquisition than they were prior to that. Similarly they must not be any well off.
