On the one hand, the war ruined the life of people and killed the great number of them, but on the other hand, the war helped him to meet Catherine, the woman he loved and respected very much. Catherine helped Frederic to understand the real values and important things in life, such as love, family, respect, trust, etc. Frederic started a new life with Catherine forgetting about the challenges and threats of war and hoping to become a better person believing in a happier and more productive future. In the beginning of the book, Frederic was depicted as a lonely, confused individual unable to find happiness and overcome the challenges of war, and Catherine really helped him to find his place and meaning in life. Attempts at purifying and characterizing this gene have been elusive. Here, we show methods for isolating, amplifying, and purifying the gene of interest for analysis. Using polymerase chain reaction to amplify the gene, it is then ligated into a pGEM-T Easy vector for TA cloning experiments. Transformation for further vector proliferation is done on competent Escherichia coli cells. Subsequently, the vector is purified through plasmid preparation and sent to an off-site location for sequencing. Upon sequence analysis, it is suggested that the gene of interest, will die slowly, belongs to the WD repeat WDR5/wds family, and has implications in histone acetyltransferase activity.
